Tom Hammonds is truely a larger than life individual. Tom is a memeber of the Basketball Hall of Fame at Georgia Tech. He had an incredible twelve year career in the NBA with the Washington Bullets, Denver Nuggets, Charlotte Hornets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. After retiring from the NBA in 2001, Tom began his drag racing career in Pro Stock. Before Tom could hit his stride in drag racing the opportunity arose to purchase a Chevrolet dealership. Tom did purchase the dealership and decided to concentrate on it’s operation. Now he has sold the business and is back in Pro Stock drag racing full time.
Flames-tv caught up with Tom as he prepared for the big race at Indy.
